Catch the big fish while anchored with the little anchor kit with the complete YakGear Grapnel Anchor Kit. This galvanized steel anchor features four 3.5-inch tines that fold out of the way while stored for space maximization and release when ready for use. The YakGear Grapnel Anchor Kit is available in both 1.5lb and 3.5lb weights. Use of a 1.5lb anchor is a more than adequate weight for kayaks and canoes in rivers, lakes, and slower moving water. Includes 30 feet of 3/16 inch black nylon diamond braid anchor rope and a storage bag.
*Note – It is recommended to use 3 times the depth of the water as your length of rope in calm waters and 4-5 times the depth of the water as your length of rope in choppy waters or windy conditions. Additional lengths of rope are available.
