What's the Deal?

Here's how it works. From 5:00pm to 8:00pm every Thursday, you can rent a kayak, paddleboard, or tandem kayak and hit the water. Just you, your friends, and one of the prettiest spots on the Connecticut shoreline. Paddle around, chase the sunset, then head back to shore for music and food. This is what summer is all about.

Get on the Water

Getting out there is simple. Show up, pick your ride, and we'll set you up with everything you need. Then it's just you and the calm waters of the Great Island Estuary. Never paddled before? Don't sweat it. Our crew will walk you through the basics so you feel ready before you push off. The water is calm, the views are unreal, and you have until 8:00pm to soak it all in.

Rock the Dock: Live Music All Summer

The fun doesn't stop when you step off the water. Our Rock the Dock concert series brings live music right to the marina. A new band takes the stage every week from 5:30pm to 9:00pm, and the best part is that it's totally free and open to everyone. So kick back, grab a spot, and enjoy the show. Here's the lineup for the summer:

  • July 2: Jake Kulak and the Modern Vandals
  • July 9: Sweet Tea Daddy and Friends
  • July 16: Sophia Griswold
  • July 23: KatMan Duo
  • July 30: Clayton Allen and Friends
  • August 6: John Brown and the Backporch Pickers

Food Trucks and BYOB

All that paddling works up an appetite. Good thing a different food truck rolls in each week, so there's always something tasty to grab. Drinks are on you, though. This event is BYOB, so pack a cooler with your favorites and you're good to go. Grab a bite, find your friends, and enjoy the music.

Bring the Whole Crew

This one is all about good times with good people. Round up your friends, your roommates, or that group chat that never actually makes plans. Want to race across the water? Go for it. Rather float around and catch up? That works too. You can also just claim a spot on shore and vibe to the music. Stuck at work all week and can't get out? This is your night. The water is waiting, and the weekend starts right here.
