The Black Hall Boat Club is a membership-based boat share on the Connecticut shoreline. Our fleet of powerboats and personal watercraft stays fueled, maintained, cleaned, and ready so when you want a day on the water, all you do is reserve your time and arrive. We handle storage, upkeep, winterizing, and everything in between.

How Membership Works
Choose the membership that fits how you like to get out on the water:
Plus a one-time initiation fee. Members reserve their time in advance, and we'll have your boat fueled and ready when you arrive. We'll walk you through the simple booking process when you join.
What You'll Need
To keep everyone safe and on the water with confidence, members will need:
A valid boating license
Liability insurance coverage (typically a simple add-on to an existing policy)
A short on-the-water orientation before your first outing
A signed membership agreement

Pilot Season
This is our inaugural season, so club membership is limited to just a few parties per boat. Because we're launching something new, we're confident enough to stand behind it: if we don't continue the program after this season, your initiation fee is fully refunded.
