BHM SHIPPING POLICY & FEES

At BHM, we pride ourselves on our shipping techniques, especially with our kayaks. We partner with a top of the line, ‘white glove’ shipping carrier to ensure your kayak gets to you quickly, safely and, most importantly, NOT damaged! 

What is ‘White Glove’ Delivery?

• ‘White Glove’ Kayak delivery means that BHM uses a company for all kayak shipping and delivery that personally picks up, loads and delivers your new kayak directly to your doorstep – NO forklifts are used, so there will be no damage to the kayak.   Many of our competitors utilize traditional LTL shipping companies, which may be less expensive, however, there is a significantly higher damage ratio.

VESSEL SHIPPING RATES

At BHM, we pride ourselves in our reasonable shipping rates for vessels. In an effort to keep costs down and service as quick as possible, we only offer discounted flat rate shipping rates for vessels shipped to select states. During checkout, please make sure your shipping address includes your FULL NAME, a CORRECT ADDRESS, and CONTACT PHONE NUMBER so your delivery can be arranged promptly and accurately.

• Old Town
  • PDL and Motorized (BLEM or non-BLEM) Models: $199.99/vessel
  • Paddle and Other Old Town Models:
    • You will be contacted after purchase with a shipping quote.
• ECS/Tahe/SIC
  • You will be contacted after purchase with a shipping quote.

SHIPPING CONFIRMATION & ORDER TRACKING  

• You will receive a shipment confirmation email once your order has shipped that will contain your tracking information.  Tracking information is typically active within 48 hours after your shipment confirmation email was sent.
• You can find your order tracking information in your BHM account.

ABOUT BHM SHIPPING CHARGES

• Shipping charges for most items are based on the total weight of your order. 
• Additional charges for oversized or overweight items may apply  
• Shipping and handling charges are subject to change without notice
• Orders containing kayaks, canoes, or SUPs will be charged a flat shipping rate per vessel in addition to a weight based rate for any non-vessels.

ADDITIONAL DISCLAIMERS

• Note:  Delivery dates may change throughout the day.  BHM attempts to ship all orders By 3pm EST.  Orders placed after 3 pm will be shipped as soon as possible, typically  the next business day
• Shipping and handling charges are subject to change without notice
• Shipments placed on weekends will not be shipped until the following weekday.
• Shipments may be delayed if any items in the order are out-of-stock.

CANCELLATIONS / RETURN SHIPPING

Return Shipping

• If your return is due to receiving damaged or defective merchandise or if a mistake was made on your order, BHM will gladly waive the fee for the use of any prepaid return label or reimburse you for return shipping expenses for standard ground shipping through USPS or UPS
• If you are returning items from your order for any reason besides defects or mistakes on the part of BHM, you will be responsible for paying the full cost of the return shipping.

Cancellations 

• Standard Merchandise 
• If you would like to cancel an order, please call or email our BHM Customer Service Team immediately to avoid return shipping fees.  Cancellations received before shipment will receive a full refund.  Orders canceled after items have shipped will follow our 30-Day Return Policy and will be subject to return shipping costs
• Vessels
• If you wish to return your vessel for any reason except for shipping damage, you will be charged a 20% restocking fee and will be responsible for the cost of return shipping.  If you wish to have your order canceled/refunded after your vessel has been picked up from our facility, you will be subject to a 20% restocking fee and a shipping fee outside your refund to cover the return shipping cost
