Refund policy
While Black Hall Marina fully stands by every product that we sell, we understand that sometimes you might change your mind or realize the product you ordered wasn’t exactly what you were hoping for. That’s why we offer a 30-Day Return Policy.
In most cases, if the item was purchased in-store or online, you may return it to us for an exchange or refund either by mail or at the store within 30 days of purchase with a valid proof of purchase.
EXCLUSIONS:
- Only regular priced items will be refunded. On sale items cannot be refunded.
- Gift cards are non-refundable
Once your returned item(s) have been received and inspected at our warehouse, we will send you an email notification that we have processed your return payment to your original payment method BHM will also notify you in the event of the rejection of your return. Once your return is approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your credit card within a few days. Please note that the timing of refund(s) are based on credit card companies refund processing timing.
*Please note: In order to receive a refund for the item(s) ordered, the item(s) must arrive back to our distribution center in “Like New” condition and must contain all original packaging and accessories. “Like New” means that the item(s) must not have been used and not show any visual signs of wear. For vessels, the item(s) must not have been out on the water. If items are returned with visual signs of wear, or have any minor issues due to use, items may still qualify for return for “Refurbished Use”, in this case a restocking fee will be assessed. Items that are damaged or are showing significant signs of wear will not be accepted and no refund will be given.
Black Hall Marina reserves the right to inspect all returned products and may reduce the credit if the product returned is damaged, not in “like new” condition, or incomplete. If shipment is refused or undeliverable, up to a 20% restocking fee plus return shipping fees will apply.
EXCHANGES
- BHM will exchange items under our own discretion within 30 days of the initial purchase if they are not covered under a pre-existing manufacturer warranty.
- For exchanges not due to error or defect, BHM will process exchanges within 30 days of the initial purchase only if the customer assumes liability for the cost of return shipping.
- International customers are responsible for providing their own return label and for pre-paying any customs/duties/fees that may apply.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you would like to cancel an order, please email or call our customer service team immediately to avoid return shipping fees. Cancellations received before shipment will receive a full refund. Orders canceled after items have shipped will follow our 30-Day Return Policy and will be subject to return shipping costs.
OTHER RETURN POLICY NOTES
- If a certain vendor or product does not support the return policy stated above, this will be noted in the product descriptions or in the product-specific return information.
- Products that are specified as certified pre-owned or used are ineligible for a return.
- Black Hall Marina only sells to purchasers who intend to use the item(s) for the duration of its economic life. Orders purchased for the specific purpose of a “one time use or temporary use” are not eligible for return under any circumstances.
- International customers are responsible for providing their own return label and for pre-paying any customs/duties/fees that may apply.
- If damage occurs to a kayak and is cosmetic and/or able to be repaired, such as dents or scratches, BHM will provide a repair kit. If you choose to replace a kayak with minor cosmetic damage instead, then you will be charged a 20% restocking fee.
HOW DO I REQUEST A RETURN LABEL
- If you are wanting to return merchandise purchased through our online store within the last 30 days, a return label can be issued for you in your BHM account or by emailing us your order number and the reason for your return to support@blackhallmarina.com. You will be liable for the cost of the return shipping if the return is not due to a defect or error on the part of BHM.
RETURNS TO A STORE
- A valid government photo ID may be requested.
- BHM reserves the right to limit or decline returns and exchanges without a valid proof of purchase.
